This is awesome! Thank you! Do you have a favorite mat?
Thank you! I’m currently using Manduka’s eKo and I love it. It’s firm, grippy and provides enough cushioning for the type of practice that I have. It’s also easy and fats to take care of. Liforme mats also have great traction and excellent if you have a sweaty practice.
Some of the yoga mats out there are very expensive. I’m really unsure about paying much for a mat. Is it worth it?
I understand you. I felt the same way for a long time until I decided to invest in a more expensive mat. It was absolutely worth it! It feels so much come comfortable, stable, and provides a lot more support.
What are your thoughts on Liforme mats? They are so expensive but I keep seeing many yogis use them.
I get you. Quality mats are expensive. My current mat (from Manduka) is in great shape, but if I was getting a new one, I’d go for Liforme. They are super grippy and very comfy to practice on. They also last for years if you take care of them, so you may never actually need a new mat. It’s a lot upfront, but you may actually end up paying more if you consistently buy new mats to replace cheap ones that don’t last.
Liforme guides are great if you want to work on alignment.
